This Privacy Policy explains how Hunter Interactive LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use the Exhibitor Connection mobile application (“the App”).
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the App.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information necessary to operate the App. We do not collect data for advertising or profiling.

Personal Information You Provide:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Exhibitor details

  • Login credentials (secured by Appwrite)

Automatically Collected Information:

  • Device model and operating system

  • IP address

  • Usage data

  • Crash and diagnostic logs

  • Approximate device location (if permission granted)

Exhibitor & App Data:

  • Show entries you submit

  • Read-only access to show catalogs

  • Group messaging participation

  • Metadata needed for app functionality

Payment Information:

We DO NOT process or store payment information.
All catalog purchases occur through external third-party websites.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate the Exhibitor Connection app

  • Authenticate your account

  • Display local shows (if location permission is granted)

  • Enable admins to view users who have entered their show

  • Send push notifications about entries, shows, and system updates

  • Improve stability, performance, and user experience

  • Provide customer support

  • Comply with legal obligations

We do NOT use your information for advertising, tracking, or unrelated purposes.

3. Permissions & Data Use Disclosure

Location (Approximate)

Purpose: To show nearby shows and event listings.
Control: You may disable location permissions at any time.
Effect: Some location-based features may be limited.

Phone Number

Purpose: To verify exhibitor identity and allow show administrators to contact you when necessary.
Control: You may choose not to provide a phone number, though some features may be limited.

Push Notifications

Purpose: To notify you of show updates, catalog availability, entry status, and system alerts.
Control: You may disable notifications in your device settings.

Network Access

Purpose: To connect to our backend (Appwrite) and sync your data.
We do not use network access for any hidden or deceptive behavior.

4. When We Share Information

We only share information in the following cases:

Show Administrators

Admins for a specific show can access:

  • Exhibitors entered into their show

  • Entry details for that show only

Admins cannot access unrelated account information.

Service Providers

We use trusted third-party service providers for:

  • Authentication

  • Data hosting

  • Analytics and error reporting

  • Push notifications

Our backend provider is Appwrite, which securely stores and processes data.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by:

  • Law

  • Court order

  • Government request

  • Safety or security necessity

5. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable security measures, such as:

  • Encrypted HTTPS connections

  • Secure authentication

  • Restricted database access

However, no system is completely secure.
We do not engage in any behavior considered “device abuse” or “deceptive data collection” under Google Play or Apple policies.

8. Group Messaging

The App supports internal group messaging channels only.
There is no private direct messaging between users.
Messages are stored on our backend to enable group functionality and are only visible within their respective groups.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under age 13.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
If a child’s data has been submitted, contact us immediately.

10. Third-Party Links

The App may link to external websites (such as catalog purchase pages).
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally.
Changes will be reflected with a new “Last Updated” date.
